it is hydraulicly controled with an air assist and i dont know what brand or type. but it is what was installed by the factory. own'd from new.

whats wrong with your cluster? it could be a simple power and ground issue. all parts are available seperately(except glass and outer housing) but on older trucks i would rec buy new, its really easy to crack a board or get esd to screw something up…
